No cricket

Still there is no cricket widowhood happening here!! The last 3 (and first 3 of the season) games have been cancelled, either due to wet weather or the opposition not getting a team together - this is usually our problem!!

So we how have 4 plates of sandwiches which will keep us going for the next few days, which should have been for the cricket teas!!

Here is a quick LO I made using the Creative Memories Everyday Pallette for the April Week 5 challenge on UKS.

Post Goodies

I love days when you have lovely goodies in the post! Todays offerings were even better as I didn't have to BUY anything!!

The Magnolia image swap on UKS came home so I have a big pile of love stamped images to play with. Thanks to Kirsty for organising.

The I won the Biggest Loser prize on the Weight Loss thread on UKS so Sian sent me some tabs, ribbons & brads as my reward! Thanks Sian!!

And finally my 2 lovely team mates Stacey & Vanessa bought me some buttons at Ally Pally a couple of weeks back - I somehow have a reputation as a Button Queen!! Can't imagine why!! Thanks girls!!

May Day, May Day

Well OK that was yesterday!! May 1st sees the traditional side of our villlage.
Our MayDay celebrations take place at the Maypole, and include the ladies of the village dancing, a visit from Pebworth Morris Men, who had been at it since 5am!! And the crowning of the Wake Queen, in readiness of Wake Day in June.

Having had several days of rain we were really lucky to have a lovely sunny evening, even though it did get a bit chilly!!
