Day 29 - 31

Day 29 - the only photo I took today was of this LO I made using the January Gogo kit
Day 30 - Charlotte was messing around with Molly tonging her hair - don't you think she could be a model!!
Day 31 - using a HS:MS prompt, to take a portrait focusing on something other than the face. I must practise this technique!

Days 26-28

Day 26 - why is it, that despite having all weekend to get sorted, Monday mornings are always a big rush to find swimming kits, football kits & do reading! More organisation required!
Day 27 - Snoozing on Dad
Day 28 - Robbie's arrived. We dog sit him for a couple of weeks each time his owner has her chemotherapy and isn't well enough to care for him. He reaps havoc but we love having him!

Days 21 - 25 less 22

Here is Molly wrapped nice and warm. It was pouring down with rain on Wednesday morning, so this is her just before joining the walking bus to school. (21st)
Quite an unflattering photo I know but sepia makes it more palletable!! This is part of my ongoing record of Charlottes orthodontic work - soon to be a mini book! (23rd)
24th Jan, Charlotte was in the Panto - Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs, I can't remeber there being Brownies in that story but there were in this version!
25th - finally got the assignment finished, in plenty of time for Tuesday - bedtime reading anyone?!

Where is 22nd you ask?? Sorry can't share as it's a photo of my class at school!

Days 18-20

Day 18 - I had to pick up this copy of Cardmaking & Papercraft - purely for the gorgeous free stamp set - love those birdies!!
Day 19 - NO, she isn't on the vino collapso, it's apple juice, but we go posh in our house!! LOL!
And I couldn't resist a snap of this because of what it looks like she is drinking!
Day 20 - Oh Eck. The realisation that that assignment has to be in next Tuesday!!

Day 16 & 17

Me & Andrew before going out ON OUR OWN for a meal - one of the kids took this picture! Not Bad!

And Day 17, Andrews birthday cake. Have you ever seen a French Fancy this big!! The candles are a bit of a mish mash, and there definately aren't enough in there to represent every year of his life!

WARNING - GROSS ALERT

OK my first photo, my picture from yesterday isn't gross at all. This is Max making his Promise at Beavers. Bless! There are better photos of the occaision but they include other peoples kids so can't post here.
Todays photo of the day is this horror

Can you believe this is why my shower wasn't working!!! This mouse (yes I know it looks nothing like one now) was stuck half in and half out of a pipe leading from the cold water tank in the roof. Bleuch!!!!!! The shower now works but I may leave it running for a bit before I get in, in the morning and my mouth will be firmly closed!!!!

Secret Santa & Other Stuff

First of all, Mondays 365 photo. We had a great laugh at Rainbows tonight with the parachute!

Sadly I can't claim this photo as my own, but it represents today perfectly. I have signed up & paid for Colour Me Happy, a 1 day workshop with Scrapagogo, in Warrington. 5 classes and a chance to meet my online friends in real life!! I can't tell you how excited I am about this!!
And finally, here are the gorgeous goodies I recieved as part of the Secret Santa Swap that we had as a team of 'Crafty Magpies' on UKS.
it remains a mystery who sent these to me, but all the bits and bobs are totally gorgeous and I now need to find a suitable project to use them!!

Well here we are 12 days in and I am still up todate!! Amazing!

365 catch up

I took the photo above last night when I was babysitting, for a couple with the most beautiful thatched cottage and a roaring open fire.

And this is todays, while on a dog walk. What is it with my kids and collecting ice?! Soon after this she went over in an icy puddle and we had to get home quick for a bath!

{Pink Gem Candy

I've just noticed, well been directed to by Karen, that Pink Gem Designs have a blog candy giveaway to celebrate their January release. Pop to their website here for a chance to win, but be quick as it is drawn later today!

The end of the Christmas Journal

Here are the final pages of my Christmas Album. I've stuck all the pages together in a collage so I hope you can see them OK.
It's so nice when you actually finish a project! I'm a great one for starting things and not getting them finished for months, so to get this done & dusted in January is a miracle!!

Back later with yesterdays 365 pic.

He's behind you!!!

OK so this isn't strictly 'my' photo, I stole it from the website of the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham where I have been today to see Aladdin! It was great, we went on a school trip & the kids loved it. The stars of the show were definately Widdow Twanky (above) and Wishy Washy!

Hope this will qualify as my photo for today!!

Tonight I've been mostly

eating these!! It suddenly got to 10.45pm and I thought, Hell!! No picture taken, what have I been doing?? I went to college tonight - no photo, laid in bed on laptop, no photo, scoffed lots of chocolate - some evidence remaining, so here you are - my 365 photo of today!!
We won't go on about the icy roads, minus 10 degrees drive to work etc this morning, etc etc, good ole choccie is far more pleasant!!

Scrubbing Up!

Now it's not that my kids aren't bathed often or anything, but there is something about the quality of the bath, the night before going back to school after the school holidays that means it is deeper, bubblier and definately more thorough than normal baths. So here is todays photo, getting ready for the big scrub!

In other news I have completed a LO in Irene's CJ, that we are doing as part of the Crafty Magpies Team on UKS. I can't show you, because that would spoil the surprise for everyone else when they have their turn with it, but it is looking LUSH Irene!!

So back to school for me and the kids tomorrow, still, only 6 weeks until half term!!

Walking the dog......

Not me, but Andrew & the boys. I sent them off with the camera into the ice & cold (while I stayed at home ironing!!) and that well trained husband of a scrapper came back with 100+ photos!! Here are a selection, I think the above montage will be todays photo of the day!! Definately a case of going, going, GONE!

A warm bath was definately needed after this, they were soaked through & covered in mud when they came home!!

Today I have been .....

mostly have a good clearout of loads of broken toys, unwanted stuff, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, blah blah blah. My least favourite pastime but it has to be done, and you know when you are in one of those 'I'm going to fill this black sack' moods, it's best to go with it!!

So this is picture number 2, to demonstrate my 'housewifeliness'!!!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year, and to celebrate I am attempting to make some sort of commitment to take a photo a day in 2009, which lots of people on UKS are trying too. Not sure how I am going to show them off, I think that I'll keep a daily diary with a small thumbnail picture glued in, then maybe a LO per month or per week - don't know, we'll see what happens!!

So todays photo is Remote Controlled Rex from Primevil, who came to a sticky end in the washing line!!
