UKS August Week 1 challenge

Wow it's been a while since I posted, but then it's been an age since I did any proper scrapping, but with the school holidays giving me time, and thanks to my lovely new Expedit equipped scrapping area, I'm getting back in the groove!

This is my LO for August week 1 challenge on UKS, the criteria was to use 4 patterned paper scraps, something recycled and to follow a sketch.

70/365+1: plant

I live in a village surrounded by growing land. This was one of the paths on my dog walk this afternoon. Under that fleece must be some tiny plants starting to grow.

69/365+1: fuzzy

Number 2 son showed me a stamp on his hand this morning as I woke up. I thought I had fuzzy double vision but realised he'd stamped it twice!!

68/365+1: bath time

I've been entering a lot of competitions and won myself this!

67/365+1: floor

Piggies have a new little indoor pen to give them some floor time every day.

66/365+1: cooking

Molly helping to make tea.

65/365+1: arranged

If my 8 year old is going to steal my Momiji Dolls, she could have the decency to arrange them a little better!!!

64/365+1: chairs

Today's chair is the chair in my room that I put there for my dog to sleep on. Sadly, she ends up on the floor as the chair has become a dumping ground.

63/365+1: flat

Folded or hung, Sunday nights are ironing nights!

62/365+1: comfort

Comfort food - it's my downfall.

My kids are ordinary (not). I regularly find this sort of thing on my iPad!

52/365+1: sky high

At the weekend, Moll spent the day with her godmother doing her Brownie cook badge which she recieved tonight. She was sky high with excitement when she got in.

51/365+1: fragile

Ouch, freshly waxed eyebrows leave your face feeling fragile!!

January Team Sketch Challenge

On UKS I am in The Crafty Magpies, we are a very active team and we enjoy challenges throughout the year. This year we are taking it in turns to produce a monthly sketch challenge and it all began in January with Karens sketch.
Aswell as the sketch we could only used old stash, we had to use blue and we had to include a die cut (Karen has something of an addiction to these , shhhh)

February week 2 challenge - UKS

This week the challenge on UKS was set by the Bijoux Belles, the criteria was as follows:
- include movement in some form or other
- use red/black colour scheme
- include some stamping
I chose a photo of when I went to see the X Factor Live tour, of Matt Cardle. There was definately a lot of movement throughout the show with all the dance routines. And I managed some very poor stamping with a musical note stamp.

I am therefore claiming full points for my team, The Crafty Magpies.
