Busy Weekend ooop North

Well I have just had the most fantastic weekend away, at a Gogo day event, Colour Me Happy in Warrington. We had 5 classes taught by Helen Miles, Karen Cole and Eileen Webdale, all fantastic and I will share photos of my makes when I have taken them, in the meantime, a couple of photos from the day.

Our wonderful hostesses, Lorraine & Janice, who made us all welcome and endless cups of tea and coffee all day!

Karen, who is sadly leaving the Gogo Design Team. It was so fantastic to meet her, we were in a CJ together a year or two ago, just after I started scrapping, and she was so kind and encouraging with her words to me, so it really was a pleasure to finally meet up with her in real life.
So after that AMAZING day, it was back to Grans for the night, then on Sunday morning a spot of cricket in the garden, with Molly in the field, collecting balls on a tractor in a basket wearing cat ears .....as you do!

After lunch a quick zip down the M6 to Birmingham where we caught the last day of the Athletics World Time Trials and UK Championships.

Lots of noise from the Aviva Bang Bang sticks...

And we loved lane 3's socks!!!

Back to earth with a bump. Just a week and a bit left at school before 6 weeks off work for the summer! Thank god for jobs in education!!
