Journalling Junkie!

I found this new challenge blog a few weeks back, Journalling Junkie. I am very guilty of the crime of not journalling on my LO's, when the whole reason for getting into scrapbooking was so that when I was dead and buried, someone would look at my photos and they would tell a story of my life, unlike my grandads photos where we have no idea who most of the people are, where they were, and why they were there.
So anyway, this is a challenge blog that prompts a subject BUT YOU MUST JOURNAL! It's simple. The challenge this fortnight was to recap on your 'word' for 2009 and discuss your 2010 word, OR, if you weren't doing 'words', review 2009. Well I am having a word, 'Organised', but I have already journalled and blogged that so I thought I would do a review of 2009.
The journalling reads;

2009, that was the year that was! We saw the loss of friend and neighbour Shirley, which in turn saw the arrival of Robbie Doggie into our home. Andrew and I spent a few fab days together without kids in Telford. Two Boyzone concerts, R.I.P. Stephen Gately & Take That on a VERY rainy night in Coventry.
Molly made her promise at Rainbows and with Rainbows we had a great day out at Dudley Zoo. 2009 also saw the launch of the Girlguiding Centenary Celebrations - a 48 hour Danceathon! A weekend away with my UKS teamies, family trip to Legoland, a Gogo day in Warrington. I'm not sure how it all fitted in!

What a good idea for a challenge - most of my journaling goes on my blog now, I shall have to print off my posts and put them into my scrapbooks so the stories of the layouts don't get lost!!
