This is what I was up to last night - carols around the Maypole, an annual tradition in our village. It's great to see so many people turn out for this even, and quite often it is one of the only chances to catch up with people when you don;t bump into them regularly when you have finished going to Toddler group or the school gates.
Despite the freezing weather, the lure of Silent Night and free mulled wine & roasted chestnuts was enough to draw a good crowd, and to top it all Santa arrived to kids all the kids sweets!!
